By Land Or By Sea…
In its essence, the name is earthy. It embodies perseverance, finding a way no matter the obstacle. It states: I will reach my heaven by any means necessary.
It’s origin however is not so poetic: it was a childhood taunt my mother was victim to in school because her maiden name is “Bylund”. To me, though it was meant as a joke, it held a certain charm. I’ve been using it (or the acronym “BLBS”) for everything I’ve created, from my fashion design line to the two-piece acoustic band my sister and I had in high school.
And now I’m using it for my blog; a little bit earthy, a little bit familial, a little bit about chasing my homesteading dream. I hope you enjoy…
